Currently in development is a "National Prevention and Health Promotion Strategy" which is a part of the Affordable Care Act. This aims to shift the focus of healthcare from sickness and disease to prevention and wellness. The National Prevention Council is inviting comments on the draft of the National Prevention Strategy, hence ideals of integrative cancer care which focus on wellness can be incorporated.
